' did the Great Fire bring about the first ever miscarriage of justice?'

' two thirds of the City destroyed in 4 days'
Meeting point

Monument tube station street level (Monument exit)

End point

Smithfield - Pye Corner

Our walk starts at the Monument and ends where the Great Fire itself finished, at Pye Corner. We hear some of the human stories of the Fire, see buildings that survived and those which rose from its ashes. We see some of London’s finest churches, including the burial place of the City's most famous Lord Mayor, Dick Whittington.
